A jealous and Vengeful God you Say?

Personally, I've never liked the modern depiction of a single deity. This "God" fellow with infinite and unimaginable strength, infinites wisdom, flawless intelligence, perfect omnipresence, etc. He (I think most holy texts say "he", so I'll play along) is a jealous and vengeful god.

I'm not a deity of eternal perfection, but I'm pretty sure Vengeance is a deadly sin, and Jealousy is just, for a lack of a better term, retarded.

Now, don't get me wrong, I neither confirm nor deny the existence of a god, or multiple gods (Fence sitting, oh yeah!) but I certainly don't believe in this concept.

To quote Inherit the Wind... "God created Man in his image, Man then returned the favour". I think that sums up this era's deity. Of course the Romans did this too, but to a greater extent. Lust and greed upon them.

So, let's see what God comes in the year 5000.

Cheers.

No blog post today, I'm really hungry all the time for no particular reason.

Also, Instant Noodles mixed with Spam is pretty good.

CUF: Farewell Cubetoons Forum

This is going to mean nothing to alot of people, but I feel it deserves saying.

Once upon a time there was a webcomic hosted on IGN. It was called Cubetoons. It was neato-riffic. It was written and drawn by a fellow who called himself JKR. He also still works on a webtoon called "Fred the Monkey". Which is well done but aims for a younger audience than I.

Anyway, cubetoons (and Fred the Monkey) had a forum. This forum I was pushed into by a comrade of mine. It turned out to be a nice community, and one of my first webforums. Small, tightknit, and full of lulz.

This was 4 years ago. I think I visited that forum pretty much every day, maybe missing a dozen in total. Over four fucking years.

And now, it's going to implode. I know it shouldn't really mean anything to see a clump of HTML go, but I poured alot of my time into it.

Oh well, things go away.

Cheers.

The Hardest Work Earns the Least Respect

My heart goes out to night shift workers, custodians of hospitals, fishermen working months at a time in savage weather to pull in an almost worthless catch, and even more love to the slaves of third world nations.

But hey, I think I'm the only one, because we live in a wacky backwards society. A magical place where all respect and money goes to "management". Y'know, those fellows who are qualified to do hard work but feel no need to. They'd rather just pay someone else to work hard for them, then snag the rest of the profits. Also, they never forget to tell themselves what a great job they did managing.

Now, I work in the THRILLING FIELD OF FAST FOOD SERVICE. By far not the hardest job in the world. I certainly don't come home covered in blood, sweat, and tears. But I do work one of the more demanding parts of it. Most of the workers only need to work when we have customers. that means they get to slack off, grab a snack, and chat things up when no one is ordering food. I on the other hand get to constantly clean, haul trash and buckets of grease, prepare all my crap for the next day, etc. Oh, and watch people get pissy when I'm not doing parts of their jobs.

Overall it's not super terrible, but a little hard work certainly makes you appreciate people who do alot of hard work.

So I guess this post is just to spread that a little bit, hold some fucking respect for the harder workers of this land. Edward von Billionaire isn't a hero, Johnny McShitscrubber is though.

Cheers.

Cigarette in One Hand, Bottle in the Other, Watching the VLT Spin....

Smoking, Drinking, and Gambling. The three modern crutches of someone dying on the inside. Let's examine them a little closer.

Smoking (well, cigarettes and drugs in general). It starts so innocently. A friend is there feeding their habit, and offer you a chance. Badda bing badda boom you caught the habit. A craving for a little stick of paper and tobacco. You want it when you don't have it, and when you have it you want more. What a damn shame.

From what I hear the high isn't all that great either, but it's the craving that keeps you coming back. A longing for a chemical that snaps onto your brain and humps your endorphin stimulator. Hooked for life with a craving due to a split second of curiosity and a bad decision. What a damn shame.

And then there's booze. Now, I must warn you, I have a serious personal problem with alcohol. Vile vile substance. Unfortunately, I live in a small town in which the favoured pastime is getting drunk. But let's examine that. Alcohol is rot, it's poison formed from artificially ages fruits and plants. If contaminates your bloodstream and flows to your brain. Once there is fucks about up there until you slowly lose common sense, complex thought, then sooner or later, consciousness. I must say that's quite disgusting.

And to think, people long all week for the opportunity to do this to themselves. To get "fucking smashed" and whatnot. It makes me want to puke. And not to mention all the deaths from drunk driving and alcohol poisoning.

Then there is gambling. The will to throw away all your hard earned money for the slight chance of winning it back. Honestly, this is the only of the three that slightly appeals to me, but that's because I'm a math guy and I love calculating odds. Oddly enough though I don't think people gamble for that same reason. It's part greed and part thrill seek. I'm not sure more of which, probably greed. It's really unfortunate that so many people expect to win the lottery for their retirement.

At least people don't kill themselves over gambling, just other people.

So there you have it. A little rant on some of the worse parts of modern human nature. Well, "modern" is a stretch, Drinking has been going on for a long time.

Cheers.

P.S. I have nothing against sex though, as long as you don't turn it into gambling. DON'T BE DAFT, WRAP YOUR SHAFT!

Tits are Deliciously Squishy.

If you laughed, you're immature, if you sighed, you obviously don't know me very well, if you are intrigued, continue reading.

Today I'd like to talk about love, likeness, and feral attraction. You see, men like women and women like men. Some men like men and some women like women. Overall we all like something. Oddly enough though we like love, in fact, we love love.

But what is love? I'm not sure. But I do feel a great happiness with someone special, so I call it love, it's close enough. I honestly don't like anyone more than I like them, so yeah, if not love, still #1 person in my life.

Love though, I have a theory, on where it came from. Remember when marriages were arranged? Well, I'm not that old, but history generally points in the direction. Well, male oppression was, there were also fights for honour and duels for women, etc.

Well, one day someone went "Yo dawg, I'd like to choose who I marry", probably a woman tired of being the victim of arranged marriage. Could you imagine that? Now a man would have to impress a woman to be able to keep her forever as an object. Well, there must be an easy way to impress a woman. Let's see let's see.

It was 10-16th century, and everyone loves God (or at least, divine force). Aha! Soul mates! An uncontrollable force makes me attracted to you and you must therefore be mine, and we are MEANT for eachother. Perfect, that'll get her womanly parts flooding with lubricating female juices.

And it worked.

Hell, hundreds of years later it still works. Mind you, I blame that on us, as humans, being creatures of habit. So "soul mates" and "forever" and "meant to be" are things we now expect to hear.

It then overtook the word love, which is a shame, since friendly and brotherly love seemed much more fitting (Oh Cassius lay thine hand on my bosom).

Oh, but were do tits fit into this? you obviously weren't paying attention. I am a straight male looking for breasts, erm a woman, well, the one I already have. It's now, and has always been, human nature to snatch up the prettiest, shiny, funnest, meatiest thing we can find.

And it's human nature, unfortunately, to possess and claim and horde. So now lies marriage, hman possession which is not slavery. And the idea of soul mates to trick into marriage.

What a clever clever ruse for a stupid stupid species.

Then again, this is all in my mind probably.

Cheers.

P.S. 60th post, that's as many as 6 tens!

Standard Issue "OMG IM SORY 4 NOT POSTING!!!1!1!" post.

Hyello all,
It's been a while since I've updated eh? Well, I was busy BECOMING A MAN. Well, not really. But the awkward 17-18 year old phase of one's life, coupled with depression can really keep you occupied. But I think I've got my time managed enough now to bring this baby back to life.

So let's bring this back with some explaining, for our slower readers out there.

1. This blog is my wacky wacky opinions and ideas about life. Topics usually reflect how I'm feeling that instant so if I say something stupid, don't hunt me down. Mind you, I always mean what I say and I'm usually too stubborn to change my opinion. Also, I'm a genius.

2. CUF: Completely Unrelated Fridays. Every Friday's post is complete and utter nonesense. Enjoy.

3. I usually update during the day, 12-8ish I suppose. AST. Mind you check the same time every day and you should see a new post.

4. There will be days without entries, some people on the internet have lives (OMG What!?!). My life isn't very lively, but some days I won't even touch the internet, so yeah.

5. You have to sign up to Blogger to comment, which isn't a great system, but eh, it keeps spam out.

So with all that out of the way, see you all tomorrow!

P.S. Oh, and to leave you all with something philosophical for the day, strippers are probably the smartest people in the world.

Quick Thought

Why can't we all share?

Friday, May 1, 2009

CUF: The most intense poem you ever read.

In my hand, my last piece.
Not of the gold you see,
But of the love I give.
And the hope I never lost.

Not even a bat of your eye,
But you were absolute.
Never was your word of choice.
It was then it all went wrong.

Time no longer a burden,
A concern nor a means.
You took it all with those words.
Sans of course the gold.

You stole all my white horses,
And rode them into hell.
All my good intentions,
They meant nothing to me now.

Of course you turn around,
Never another thought.
Why give it a chance?
You matter so much to me.

You obviously mean more to yourself though...

Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, and searching for truffles.

Swine flu is a bitch isn't it? Well, maybe a sow...

The WHO has raised it's panic level to 5 as of late. What does that mean? So far it means don't panic, but we're almost at a pandemic. It's an illness with it's epicenter in Mexico and traces all around the world. People are certainly worried about contracting this illness, since, afterall, it is an illness.

What are the symptoms of swine flu? You get the flu, then, if you're Mexican, you die.

Most (if not all) swine flu related deaths have been in Mexico. Poor be the people who die from it there, and may they rest peacefully. However, there have been little to no deaths outside of Mexico. This sounds like good reason not to panic.

But ho! The American media extraordinaire it at it's finest. By the powers of CNN, ABC, NBC, and FOX combined, we form TERRORTRON. Unleashing fears never before coined. We must cause chaos and persuade pandemonium! Terror of what is yet to come, not of the little that has been.

So, what should YOU do to protect yourself from this viral apocalypse? Let's see.

1. Don't panic, it's a flu.
2. For fuck's sake don't panic, it's a flu.
3. If you're Mexican skip to step 6.
4. Don't go to Mexico.
5. Avoid Mexicans.
6. Take lots of Vitamin C suppliments.
7. Drink plenty of water.
8. Don't panic.
9. Avoid pork tacos.

Honestly though, my main concern of swine flu is it's proximity to my small town. About 400 km away, but fairly close. However since non-Mexican = non-fatal with this virus, I'm not running around looting and hoarding.

To my next point, hoarding anti-viral medicene, particularly the one that counter-acts swine flu.

Don't.

Save it for the people who do get sick.

We'll tell you when to hoard.

Also.

I apologize to my Mexican fans, but erm, stats don't lie :/
Cheers.

Battle of the Blands

Many yesteryear past there was such a thing as musical talent.

A band used to consist of a group of musicians who played well from hours of daily practice. Friends who played their hearts out on stage and gave it all their all. Then the singer would leave to become a solo artist.

Nowadays a band seems to consist of 3 pretty boy rhythm guitarists who can't write their own songs.

WHAT IS THIS FOPPERY?!

Aren't we supposed to be amazed and amused by portrayals of talent and excellence? Weren't we once rocking out to hard rock blasting through the stands of an old arena? DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN A SONG DIDN'T HAVE A MUSIC VIDEO?

Music used to be an art man, an art.

Now it's sort of like modern art, except it's the kind of modern art you know is full of bullshit.

Fuck you disney.

FUCK YOU DISNEY!

Oh well, hooray for local talent. they still do it for fun.
Cheers.

7 ain't so lucky

Where did it all go? Is it hiding from deadly sins? Is it being killed by them?

Greed killed the economy. Millions of middlemen taking a piece of pie and rasing prices during trades. Artificially inflating everything so they can go home with a bottle of wine instead of a bottle of beer.

Gluttony kills our children. It also infests them. They want that second happy meal and that bigger slice. Yum yum yum, thump thump thump, stroke.

Sloth is feeding the machine that is convenience. Why not have the treadmill walk on itself for you? Mixed with habits of gluttony, early death is not a choice, it's an expectation.

Lust is spawning more evil. Not that children are evil, but the young ones of the sinful are. Or they will pick up habits of these deadly sins and pass them on.

Pride is causing anger all across the world. "I'm better than you, submit to me". People thinking better of themselves and causing conflict to defend it. Simply disgusting.

Envy is a fickle one. It's interesting to think how much of this there it. Mind you i often seems to be envy of other deadly sins. Envy of greed, envy of gluttony.

Vengeance is killing anyone who's still alive. Churning anger and holding terror deep within to bring it back with fury and intrest. Of course, vengeance bring more vengeance.

These really are deadly sins... not that I want to sound like a preacher of doomsday, but things aren't looking to bright.

Whores and Cookies

Both sweet, soft, and enjoyed by all =D

Oh, but the serious topic for today folks is indulgence. You see, we like to indulge. We love our desserts and our drugs and our money and our women. Problem is there are many indulgences in life that take a toll on our body. Sweets will make us fat. Drugs will make us comatose. As for sex, well, let me quote an old sex ed book I was forced to read in grade 5 as saying "Making love is like jumping rope, it's really fun but it's even more tiring".

However, people often fail to realize the possibility of pseudo-indulgences. Why have desserts when an apple is just as sweet? Why have drugs when you can play tricks on your mind all by yourself? Of course, sex may be tiring, but foreplay never dies.

Honestly, this is a shot at people's lack of creativity. They always seem to want what other people tell them they want. Sex all over TV and cookies in the bakery. Y'know, you can take a little less to have a lot more people. Be creative, have some fun, don't go for the all when you have the most.

Overall, just be a little more clever and you'll live forever.
Happily too.

Cheers.

Drum Beat

Like our heart, a drum does keep a rhythm. Like our heart each beat is as important as the last. In every song and in every day we hear the rhythm. A thump, a tick, a blast. We hear it every time we are anything but we don't listen. Rather we wait for when we hear silence. When we hear silence, the song is over.

I wouldn't say silence is the worst thing to hear from our drums and our hearts. Afterall, we don't hear the silence, we only feel it. We don't even feel it, we just feel tension and nervousness when the silence comes. Or we just feel dead.

The silence is a scary thing, that's why I like to hear a drum beat.

Cheers.

Experiment failed

*kicks desk*

This sucks. My experiment based around the "Harvest Moon Hypothesis of Love" has been compromised. The subject has discovered her noteworthy symbolism.

Aborting.

Results would be inaccurate and possibly melded. So the experiment is off. No more than 1 month after it began no less.

I would like to apologize to all my readers for this setback. I suppose the nature of affection won't be understood for a little while longer.

Suggestions for new sociological experiments will be considered and encouraged.

Cheers.

Subtlety is not my forte

I USUALLY TRY AND GET MY POINT ACROSS IN A MANOR WHICH SHOWS HOW VALID MY POINT IS. NOTE THE USE OF ALL CAPS IN A NOTE ABOUT HOW UN-SUBTLE I AM. IT IS VERY CLEVER ISN'T IT? I THINK IT'S PERFECTLY SATIRICAL FOR THE SUBJECT. LIKE WRITTING AN ESSAY ON VIBRANT COLOUR SCHEMES IN RED INK.

I REALLY DON'T HAVE A WHOLE LOT TO SAY TODAY REALLY, RUNNING LOW ON SHIT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. I DON'T LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT MY LIFE TOO OFTEN AND I'M RUNNING LOW ON SOCIETIES DOWNFALLS/SHORT COMINGS. IF YOU HAVE SUGGESTIONS FOR BLOG POSTS ALWAYS BE GLAD TO LET ME KNOW.

ANYWAY I'M GONNA GO ENJOY A CALM SUPPER AND SOME KICKING TUNES. THEN HOMEWORK. I BET YOU READ THIS ENTIRE THING THINKING I'M YELLING.

Judicator

I believe that all arguments should have some sort of mediator involved, unless they're fun arguments of course.

But like, two people have a serious argument and get mad at each other because they both think they're right. not a very happy ending y'know? A judge or a mediator should just appear in a puff of smoke or on a motorcycle whenever two people start fighting.

But that can't happen.

So, whenever two people are fighting, one should take the liberty to call in a third party. It'd be a really appropriate measure to take. That way when two are arguing, they can get some logical input from time to time, rather than chucking insults and yelling.

Afterall, if you're so right about what you're saying, a mediator will only help right?
Cheers.

CUF: Maybe we could make it work the other way around...

Y'know how in all those crazy sci-fi movies you get a man building a robot? What if we could build a robot that could bio-engineer a human being? What would that be like?

Like, would there be robots protesting that they shouldn't be playing God? Would it be a way to save the human race after a robot holocaust? Would the human feel like some sort of useless machine? Would there be 3 laws of human construction?

I mean, we can build simply assembly robots, and we can engineer viruses and DNA... Why not huh? We'll build robots that can build humans. Serious business...

I need a women so I have less time to think about this shit :/
Cheers.

Real fur is still being sold?

Really now? It's not the 1700's. We aren't primitive in the field of science nor freezing cold. I can't think of anything to justify using real fur these days. Other than maybe rich dumb people buying name brands.

Seriously, it's not like we're getting meat from any of these animals. It's not like they're menaces either. Just killing in the name of fashion. And what fashion be that? Not a very clever one, nor new. Perhaps just the fashion of money.

Fuck you capitalism.

Anyway, there really is no need. I mean leather ain't too bad, they use the meat and stuff of the cows. But fur in general just doesn't seem quite right. Y'know, a waste of life really (and money too). So, I'll take faux fur if any and a leather jacket to spoil myself.

I'm not one to rant or rave save the animals, but I'm kind enough to hate a waste. So be nice and forget fur. Let's just let them frolic around what's left of the forests and enjoy our own life, in normal jackets.

Cheers.

Cracking up

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. He may have felt some confidence, maybe a bit of happiness. He was hoping for someone to see him maybe?

Humpty dumpty had a great fall. Or perhaps he just wanted to fall? I know I once stood on a ledge, made a thought, and fell. Fell into my deepest hole, or even in pices.

All the kings horses and all the kings men could never put him back together again. I'm still not fully healed, and no one seemed to be able to help me. What a shame. I was almost complete but then I was smashed like a bowl of eggs...

Cheers.
